Just west of the Glacier National Park Two Medicine entrance station you’ll find the trail head for Running Eagle Falls (also called Trick Falls).

The trail is an easy hike on a very well-maintained trail suitable for even the most novice hiker, and It is also handicap accessible.
The trail is about 0.6 miles round trip with very little elevation gain.

Running Eagle Falls is actually two falls, a waterfall falling into another waterfall, and from the top drops some 40 feet with the spring runoff, but unfortunately, the upper falls usually dries up by late summer.
Behind the falls you can see Wolf Mountain, with a peak of 9,513 feet.

Since Running Eagle Falls is an easy hike, it can be quite crowded at times, but if your looking for a short fun hike or have small children or elderly, it’s a very nice hike or side trip.
